School with Shelter

The project involves the construction of a new educational building for a school — a two-story structure with a sports hall, cafeteria, and equipped shelter in the basement.

In the heart of the village of Volosianka, Lviv Region, we are embarking on an ambitious project: the construction of a new educational complex. This two-story structure will encompass all the necessary amenities for the school's children, including a sports hall, cafeteria, and a secure shelter in the basement.

Prime Location

The designated construction area enjoys a tranquil setting, gently sloping and perfectly suited for our educational facility. Within this locale, the existing school building with its classrooms forms an integral part of the community.

Seamless Integration

The new educational building seamlessly connects to the existing structure through a covered passage. To enhance the environment, we have carefully designed the landscaping, including a sports area with exercise equipment and a cozy relaxation area. The area is well-lit to ensure safety and accessibility.

Functional Zones

The architectural design calls for the creation of three distinct functional zones, each thoughtfully separated:

Shelter

We have designed a secure basement shelter capable of accommodating up to 300 individuals. It is fully equipped with all necessary facilities and has an autonomous power source. In peacetime, this area transforms into a dedicated educational space.

Sports Hall

Located on the first floor, the multi-purpose sports hall is equipped with a climbing wall and spectator seating.

Cafeteria with Food Preparation Area

The second floor houses a cafeteria with seating for 90 individuals, including spaces for students with disabilities. The food preparation area is conveniently located nearby.

Architectural Excellence

Our architectural philosophy revolves around simplicity, modernity, and minimalism. The façades are adorned with fire-resistant composite aluminum panels using a ventilated façade system. By recreating the surrounding mountainous landscape in the building's form, it harmoniously integrates with the natural environment.

Comprehensive Transformation of
the Ski Complex

Youth Sports School

A project for the reconstruction and construction of trampolines, auxiliary facilities, and the improvement of the sports school's territory for winter sports.

The S13 team has proposed a comprehensive concept for the revitalization and modernization of the territory of the youth sports school for winter sports in Kremenets, Ternopil region. This project entails not only the modernization of existing facilities but also the implementation of innovative structures to create a world-class learning environment.

Harnessing Varied Terrain

The project site features varying terrain, providing unique opportunities for the placement of ski jumps of different heights without significant alteration of the natural environment.

Phased Transformation:

The project unfolds in four sequential phases, each aimed at the renovation and expansion of existing facilities.

Phases I and II

These stages involve the reconstruction of three existing ski jumps, replacement of artificial surfaces, the construction of a funicular, installation of a conveyor lift, and the construction of new judges towers.

Phase III

This stage includes the construction of an administrative building with a gym and an asphalt-covered roller ski track. It also involves the erection of spectator stands, auxiliary facilities, and comprehensive landscaping. A guest parking area will be conveniently located near the administrative building.

Phase IV

This phase envisions the construction of two new ski jumps with artificial surfaces, judges towers, and a funicular for efficient access.

All-Season Training

Our artificial ski jump coverings are thoughtfully selected to enable year-round training, catering to both winter and summer seasons.

A New Administrative Hub:

The newly designed administrative building encompasses several functional zones.

Public Zone

The public zone is located on the first and second floors. It includes a café with a terrace and a comfortable waiting area. The spectator stands situated above the building guarantee an excellent view of sporting events.

Educational Zone

The educational zone is situated on the third and fourth floors and comprises classrooms, a sports hall, and necessary auxiliary spaces to facilitate a complete learning process.

Reconstruction Concept

Rehabilitation Center

A concept for the reconstruction with an addition of a rehabilitation gym for people with disabilities.

This conceptual project entails the reconstruction and expansion of the Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center for Persons with Disabilities in Lviv, including the construction of a specialized sports hall for the rehabilitation of individuals with physical limitations.

Enhancing the Structure

The concept involves adding a superstructure above the existing building of the Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center for Persons with Disabilities "Halychyna." Access to this superstructure is facilitated through a new staircase and an elevator. An additional emergency exit leads to a terrace, designed as a fire-safe zone where people can await the arrival of rescue services.

Dedicated Changing Rooms and Showers

The new space includes separate changing rooms for men and women, fully equipped to meet the needs of individuals with disabilities. These facilities encompass storage space for wheelchairs, individual changing cabins, separate lockers for personal belongings and prosthetics, as well as accessible restrooms and showers. The rehabilitation area can accommodate up to 20 individuals simultaneously.

Modern Sports Halls

The project also entails the creation of two fully-equipped gymnasiums, furnished with all necessary equipment, an instructor's room, and a relaxation area. All other required facilities are situated in the existing building on lower levels.
